Katie Brookes lives and works in West Sussex. Katie is predominantly a painter and her work often includes spaces where different observed imagery is brought together.
Katie studied at the University of Arts London, Camberwell from 2006 to 2010, the Royal Drawing School from 2012 to 2013 and Turps Art school from 2015 to 2017.
Katie is a mother of two and alongside her practice as a painter, Katie is an Atelierista (an Artist teacher) and Early Years Teacher at a Reggio Emilia inspired Early years setting and Forest School in West Sussex.
